Terms of Use
Effective May 25, 2026. These terms explain how CertVector accounts, course access, billing, AI tutor features, content, community tools, and acceptable use work.
These Terms are written in plain English so learners understand the rules for accounts, paid access, course content, AI tutor use, community features, and support. CertVector is operated by Equilibelle App Solutions.
1. Agreement To These Terms
These Terms of Use are between you and Equilibelle App Solutions, the operator of CertVector. They govern access to CertVector, including the website, practice questions, timed simulations, study plans, AI tutor, community features, offline tools, support forms, billing flows, and related services. By using CertVector, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you use CertVector for a company, school, team, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization or that you are using the service only in your personal capacity.
Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights or statutory protections that apply in your jurisdiction.
2. Educational Purpose And No Exam Guarantee
CertVector provides educational certification-preparation tools. We do not guarantee that you will pass an exam, obtain a certification, receive employment, satisfy an employer requirement, or qualify for reimbursement.
CertVector does not provide official exam questions, exam dumps, professional legal advice, professional security advice, tax advice, employment advice, or vendor-issued certification guidance. You should always review the official exam objectives, policies, and documentation from the relevant exam vendor.
3. Vendor Independence And Trademarks
CertVector is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by CompTIA, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, ISC2, or any other certification vendor unless expressly stated in writing.
Certification names, exam codes, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the exams that learners are preparing for.
4. Accounts And Email Sign-In
You are responsible for maintaining control of the email address used to sign in. CertVector uses email-based sign-in codes, so anyone with access to your email may be able to access your CertVector account.
You agree to provide accurate account, billing, and support information, keep your contact details current, and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not share, sell, rent, sublicense, or transfer your account access. Team or corporate features may be offered separately and must be used under their own rules.
5. Free Access, Pro Access, Bundles, And Lifetime Access
Free access may include daily limits, starter-bank access, sample questions, or other limited features. We may change free limits, feature availability, or eligibility as the product evolves.
Pro access is course-based unless a bundle or all-access product states otherwise. Purchasing Pro for one course does not automatically grant Pro access to other courses.
Bundles grant access only to the courses described at checkout. If future courses are added to CertVector, they are not included in an existing bundle unless the checkout page or account page clearly says they are included.
Lifetime access means access to the purchased course or bundle for the commercial life of that product on CertVector, subject to these Terms. It does not mean access for your lifetime, guaranteed operation forever, future unrelated products, or vendor exam fees.
6. Subscriptions, Renewal, Cancellation, And Billing
Monthly and annual plans renew automatically until cancelled. The renewal interval, course, price, currency, taxes, and included features are shown at checkout and in the billing portal where available.
You can manage or cancel paid subscriptions through the billing portal or by contacting support if the portal is unavailable. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges or partial billing periods unless required by law or allowed under our Refund Policy.
Stripe processes payments and may apply taxes, fraud checks, payment-method rules, and regional requirements. Failed payments, chargebacks, suspected fraud, or subscription-status errors may interrupt Pro access until resolved.
7. Refunds
Refunds are handled under the Refund Policy. We may review first-purchase refund requests, billing mistakes, duplicate charges, mistaken renewals, and entitlement mismatches. Heavy usage, account abuse, scraping, shared accounts, or attempts to bypass limits may make a purchase ineligible for refund.
Refund rights required by law are not limited by these Terms.
8. AI Tutor Terms
The AI tutor is a study aid. It may generate incomplete, outdated, or incorrect explanations even when safeguards are used. You should verify important learning points against the official exam objectives and vendor documentation.
Do not submit sensitive personal information, employer-confidential information, passwords, API keys, exam-dump content, or private customer data to the AI tutor. Tutor use may be logged, rate-limited, reviewed, or blocked to enforce quotas, safety, abuse-prevention, and service reliability.
We may change AI tutor limits, models, prompts, or availability at any time to manage cost, reliability, quality, or safety.
9. Question Bank Integrity And Anti-Cheating Rules
CertVector questions, explanations, rationales, study plans, tutor prompts, and course materials are original learning content or licensed material. You may use them for your own study, but you may not copy, scrape, download, redistribute, publish, resell, train a competing product, or build a question bank from CertVector content.
You may not upload or request exam dumps, real exam questions, confidential vendor content, or content obtained in violation of exam-vendor rules. Accounts may be suspended or terminated for cheating-related activity.
You may report suspected content errors through question reports, AI tutor reports, or support. We may update, retire, or correct questions at any time.
10. User Content And Community Rules
User content includes forum posts, comments, replies, question reports, AI tutor reports, reviews, pass stories, support messages, study group posts, and other content you submit. You retain ownership of your content, but you grant CertVector a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, use, reproduce, display, moderate, and distribute it as needed to operate, improve, and promote the service.
Do not submit illegal, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, defamatory, misleading, spammy, sexually explicit, infringing, confidential, malicious, or exam-dump content. Do not impersonate others or post personal information about another person without permission.
We may remove, hide, edit, reject, or moderate user content and may suspend accounts that violate these rules. Public reviews and pass stories should only be displayed after moderation and, where appropriate, consent.
11. Acceptable Use And Security
You may not interfere with the service, bypass limits, probe or attack systems, scrape content, automate abusive requests, reverse engineer protected features, share login codes, resell access, use the service to violate law, or attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you.
You may not use CertVector in a way that overloads infrastructure, harms other users, damages our reputation, infringes intellectual property rights, or violates third-party terms.
12. Intellectual Property
CertVector and its licensors own the platform, design, software, question banks, explanations, rationales, AI tutor prompt structures, graphics, logos, guides, articles, and other content, except for user content and third-party trademarks.
Subject to these Terms, CertVector grants you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the service for your own certification study. No rights are granted except those expressly described in these Terms.
13. Third-Party Services And Links
CertVector may link to official vendor documentation, exam providers, Stripe, email services, calendar providers, community tools, and other third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, availability, pricing, or security.
Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
14. Availability, Changes, And Beta Features
We aim to keep CertVector reliable, but the service may be interrupted by maintenance, outages, third-party failures, security events, migrations, rate limits, or product changes. Some features may be experimental, beta, limited, or available only to certain accounts.
We may add, remove, change, rename, or limit features, courses, plans, prices, question counts, AI limits, offline tools, community features, and study-plan tools. We will try to avoid materially reducing paid access during an active billing period without a reasonable product or operational reason.
15. Disclaimers
CertVector is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.
We do not warrant that content will always be complete, current, or free from mistakes, that AI tutor responses will be correct, or that using CertVector will produce any particular exam or career outcome.
16. Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CertVector will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, exam fees, lost employment opportunities, or certification outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CertVector's total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid CertVector for the affected course or plan during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 USD if you used only free features.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold CertVector harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, violation of law, infringement of third-party rights, user content, or cheating-related activity.
18. Suspension And Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for CertVector or other users, abuse support or community features, attempt to bypass billing or usage limits, submit prohibited content, or engage in fraud, scraping, or security abuse.
You may stop using CertVector at any time. Subscription cancellation is separate from account deletion; cancelling a subscription stops future renewals, while deleting an account may remove learning history subject to retention requirements.
19. Governing Law And Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Prince Edward Island, Canada, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws require a different result.
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and try to resolve the issue informally. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking urgent relief for intellectual-property misuse, security abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access.
20. Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms as the product, law, pricing, or operations change. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date, and continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms unless applicable law requires another form of consent.
