Networking explains many security scenarios

Firewalls, segmentation, DNS, VPNs, wireless controls, and troubleshooting show up in security work. If those ideas are weak, Network+ can make Security+ easier.

Security+ can still be first

Learners with help desk, systems, or cloud exposure may already have enough networking context to start Security+. Use diagnostic practice to decide instead of guessing.

Follow the weak-domain evidence

If repeated Security+ misses involve routing, ports, protocols, or segmentation, pause and review those Network+ concepts before continuing.
